I walked into the movie theatre thinking that this film was gonna be... Just another Rocky movie. I thought of it as a way for Sylvester Stallone to cash in on the spotlight one last time, but this film, had me at the edge of my seat. I mean I was in awe, I got to see the Italian Stallion in action, for the last time. All bullshit aside, this film needed to be made, to end the Rocky Balboa Legacy, the RIGHT WAY!
The story begins as Rocky is lying flowers on Adrien's grave, he then falls into a slight depression, where he finds himself wanting to fight a few small local shows, in order to find the man that he used to be. On the other end of the spectrum, we have the new reigning world heavyweight champion Maison "The Line" Dixon (played by boxing sensation Antonio Tarver), who is said to be unbeatable and has won all of his fights by first and second round knockouts... After his latest victory he finds himself getting booed at by the fans, for "not fighting anyone that has the ability to fight back." Since Rocky has his boxing license, Maison's manager sets up the fight... what happens next... You are gonna have to get off your fat ass and go see it!
This is the last Rocky, in fact I think that they should just BURN Rocky V!
