So the betting man picks Lesnar...
The pros pick Couture...
Who do you think will win?

With a mega fight such as Brock Lesnar Vs. Randy Couture, it is easy to overlook a fight such as Kenny Florian vs. Joe Stevenson.... WHY? We are talking about two of the most exciting lightweights in the UFC, we are talking about runner up from season one meets winner from season two (of the Ultimate Fighter.)
This match-up (in my eyes) should not be even happening, Kenny Florian (after his win against Roger Huerta) should be fighting BJ Penn for the lightweight title, however since BJ Penn is fighting GSP (sometime in early 2009), Kenny Florian had the option of either waiting or getting some more cage time, so Kenny decided to take the fight against Stevenson. I think that BJ Penn should have to fulfill all obligations at 155 before venturing off into other areas, but OH WELL.
One thing can be said about Florian, every fight, you see a better Kenny Florian... With Joe Stevenson, every fight, you see the same Joe Stevenson. Kenny Florian is walking into the fight with a better stand-up game and a much better ground game then Joe Stevenson. He has the reach advantage and he has also fought (and beat) the better fighters.
I gotta go with Kenny Florian on this one... It is going to be an exciting fight, but Stevenson is going to lose.
After the disappointment of Ken Shamrock/Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson (which resulted in Ken Shamrock dropping out of the fight 24 hours before fight night), the world of Mixed Martial Arts now has a more tangible "dream fight". On November 15th, MMA Legend Randy "The Natural" Couture will take on rising UFC Star Brock Lesnar in a much anticipated bout for the UFC Heavyweight Championship.
This is one of those fights that is going to be very hard to predict! If this fight was based on physicalities, you would have to give the fight to Brock Lesnar, he is a 280lb man that has to CUT DOWN to 265, he has the strength of a 400 lb man, the speed of a light weight, and conditioning like that of Sean Sherk. However, if this fight was based on experience, you would have to give the fight to Randy Couture, the 5 time UFC Champion (in both the light heavyweight and heavy weight division), he has beat MMA LEGANDS, and in EVERY fight in which he was considered the underdog, he came out victorious.
Randy as a fighter has always relied on his speed and his wrestling skills to carry him through the tougher fights, with an opponent like Brock Lesnar, he is not going to have either of those advantages, plus he is going to have to deal with an opponent 60lbs heavier... this kills me to say, but think Brock Lesnar is gonna give Randy Couture a pretty serious beat down, but I hope that Randy proves me wrong!
