Mt. Dew Voltage Xperience

I tried the new Mt. Dew Voltage and that stuff is fkn awesome. I honestly hate regular Mt. Dew and I’m not a fan of Code Red either, but Voltage actually quenches my thirst and helped me stay awake for my 6 hour watch I had late last week on my ship. It kind of taste like those blue raspberry dum dum suckers, but not 2 sweet. It was voted by the people and I think the people did well, because it is the first Mt. Dew product I would actually pay to drink!

sorta new verizon feature

My phone company, Verizon Wireless, just came out with My Friends and Family. It's the same thing T-Mobile has with their myfaves feature, allowing me to pick 10 numbers of my choice to call unlimited for people who don't have the VZW network. Unlike, some other carriers, with my family plan we don't all get to choose our own 10, we have to share but most the people I talk to have VZW so it isn't that big of a deal for me. This is one of those good things that happens when phone companies like Verizon and Alltel merge. I just hope it's the last major merger of a cell phone company, if they do any more my phone bill will start being 450.00 for 23 minutes of usage or some crazy prices like that! For now though, I am happy with the new feature on my bill!

For Fellow Bloggers
I'm sure the vast majority of you already know about this, but I discovered a website called 'Plinky' yesterday- it's for those of us who blog... but have nothing to blog about. They post abstract questions and after answering them you can 'share' the answer onto your blogger account. I think it's kind of neat. :) Anyways, the website is http://www.plinky.com/. Enjoy!

College Searching
So, a few weeks ago I finished my online high school courses with Primavera. Naturally I start researching colleges.
I've decided I hate every admission advisor. Ever.
They're as bad as salespeople! I swear. They call me no longer than 5 minutes after I input information and wont (hardly) ever let me get off the phone even when I tell them I'm at work. Very frustrating. Though eventually I got smart and stopped requesting information and started doing research on my own, or using the LiveChat option to talk to an advisor- gotta love that, cause I could get all the info while I was at work.
Anywho I think I might have found where I want to take [online] course- Argosy University. Good pyschology school. Just need to figure out where/when I'm gonna take my SAT/ACT.
That's all for now.

FUN TIMES...
So I have been in Chicago now for almost a week. Its been a blast... I have gotten to meet up with some pretty awesome people and have a lot of fun with some close friends. Hopefully starting Monday I will be able to focus more of my energy on this site...
These past couple of days have been pretty crazy... but all in all very rewarding... four months ago I would have never dreamed that it would be possible for me to do some of the things that I have gotten to do. Over the past few months, I have gotten to work with a lot of brilliant people... its kind of intimidating from time to time, knowing that you aren't half as smart as anyone else in the room... but you get used to it.
I got to see Andy perform live for the first time... he was nothing short of spectacular, I honestly believe that he is FUNNIER sober... along with him was one of my new friends Mark Foster, mark played the guitar for the show and did an awesome job. I also got to do a little bit during the show, it was a lot of fun... even though 200 people in Chicago now think that my name is Bobby Tomlin.... and that I have aids.
